Visit Tips

We are dedicated to the health and safety of our visitors and staff. Here are some guidelines to make sure you have the best museum visit possible.

MASKS

All visitors are required to wear a mask while in the museum. If you don’t have a mask, we have masks available. If you are unable to wear a mask due to a disability, a full face shield can be worn instead. Please contact access@denverartmuseum.org with any questions.

6 FEET APART

Please maintain a 6-foot distance from visitors not in your party. Look for the prompts on the floor for help.

ARE YOU WELL?

If you feel ill or have a temperature, please stay home and reschedule your visit.

CLEAN HANDS

Wash your hands frequently. Automatic hand sanitizing stations can be found on every floor.

ACCESSIBLE

We have strollers or wheelchairs to borrow for your visit. Please ask a staff member for assistance.

SEATING

If you require a seating option during your visit, we have portable stools available throughout the museum. Stools will be cleaned after each use.

ELEVATOR

Please limit the number of visitors per elevator car to 4 people per ride. Groups of family members visiting together may exceed this guideline.

PAYMENT

Our ticket window and pop-up shop are only accepting credit cards at this time.

FOOD & DRINK

No food or drink within the museum. Our café is currently closed.

BAGS

Lockers and coat check are closed for the time being. Please leave large bags at home.

PHOTOS

Non-flash photography is allowed in galleries and public spaces. You will see on the gallery door or object label if photography is not allowed.

FILMING

The museum often photographs and films onsite programs for use on promotional materials. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please inform a staff member.
