Taylor Family, St. Joseph, MO, possibly 1860s [1]; collection of Reverend CW Douglas [1867-1944], Denver, CO., before 1944; by descent, Frederick H. Douglas [1897-1956]; gifted to the Denver Art Museum, 1954 [1] Notes record that family boarded drivers on the “Overland Mail” who left various “Indian items” in the house in the 1860s.
