The Logan Collection
Kent and Vicki Logan are among the most adventurous collectors in North America. Drawn primarily to what they describe as “conceptual realism,” the couple collects art that is engaged in the contemporary world, rather than art based on abstract or theoretical ideas alone. Social, environmental, and cultural issues invigorate the work that they collect.
Since 2000, when the Logans moved from California to Colorado, they have made an enormous impact on our contemporary art community. To date, they have donated over three hundred gifts to the Denver Art Museum—some of the most important and provocative artworks created since 1990. We are grateful for the many gifts from this celebrated collection. The Logans’ prescience for discovering new artistic talent and their generous support of artists at all stages of their careers accounts for their influential standing among collectors and museums worldwide.
