Catch the sun and capture the flag to toast the season and cheer reasons to play.

Produced with local creatives, Untitled Final Fridays is the museum's monthly late night program featuring workshops, performances, and tours with a twist. Experience the museum in an entirely different way—every time.

College students with valid ID receive 2-for-1 admission to Untitled Final Fridays.

All Night—Welcome to DAM camp!

If you want a care package, you’re going to have to write some letters to home! Explore summertime memories and craft hilarious tales of a night spent at DAM camp.

All Night—CAR-aoke

Atrium, Level 1, Hamilton Building

Pretend you’re around the campfire and sing out loud in all-night CAR-aoke in the DAM Toyota. Marshmallow earplugs not included.

TALKS & TOURS:

7 pm & 8 pm—Artist Chat: Walt Pourier & The Stronghold Society

Martin Plaza, Outside the Hamilton Building

Skate on over to the plaza to chat with Native Arts Artist-in-Residence (and resident cool guy) Walt Pourier and the kids of the Stronghold Society. Learn about Walt’s artistic practice and how skateboarding can inspire a healthy life in mind, body, and spirit.

ARTS & CRAFTS:

6–8 pm—Craft Camp

Martin Plaza, Outside the Hamilton Building

Learn a few survival knots with The Craftsman and Apprentice and spruce up your summer wardrobe. Practice tying five essential knots or turn your practice rope into a wearable work of art. No experience or merit badges necessary, until supplies run out.

6–8 pm—Skate Camp

Hit the decks (skate decks that is) and join in on collaborative skateboard-inspired art projects with the Stronghold Society, a Levis-sponsored, star-studded non-profit founded by Walt Pourier, which supports native youth through skateboarding.

6–8:30 pm—Space Camp

Level 3 Atrium, Hamilton Building

Get ready for a real head trip with Virtual Reality artmaking led by the whiz kids at DenVR. Get immersed in a mind-altering experience that allows you to paint the walls (well..virtually) and show off your artistic genius.

FUN & GRUB:

7–8:30 pm—Cricket Camp

Cricket eating contests at 7:15 pm & 8:15pm

Ring the dinner bell and clear your plate with some adventurous eating and food contests with our hopping friends at Rocky Mountain Micro Ranch and Chef Daniel Asher of River & Woods. Get your grub on, until supplies run out.

6:30 pm—Kidding Around

Cheer on the rising stars of the DAM’s real summer camps. These kiddos have worked hard writing, directing, and acting in an original art-inspired play, so grab a seat and give them a hand!

7:45 pm & 8:45 pm—Joan & Charlie Discuss Tonight’s Theme

Get campy with our resident theater kids & special guest star, dancer Laura Ann Samuelson.

With temperatures this high, maybe Joan will finally get in the pool!

8:15 pm & 9:15pm—Creative-in-Residence: Laura Ann Samuelson

Audacious, Level 3 Galleries, Hamilton Building

Grab a seat and check out some cool summer moves. Creative-in-Residence, choreographer Laura Ann Samuelson debuts a performance that’s been built by visitor input and the DAM art collections.

8:30 pm & 9:30 pm—Minor Disturbance

Mi Tierra, Level 4 Galleries, Hamilton Building

Play with words and root for your team, the slam poets of Minor Disturbance, as they craft their tales and prepare for the 2017 National Slam poetry finals.
