Using light and shadow to obscure and reveal, Main Stage creates a visual effect of light shining across and through leaves on tree branches, as the wind gently blows. Inspired by theatrical techniques and processes, this piece simultaneously produces a convincing illusion while exposing the DIY apparatus used to make it.

Untitled Final Fridays is the DAM’s monthly late-night program featuring unconventional experiences developed in collaboration with local creatives and community members. The theme changes each month, exploring new perspectives inspired by artwork on view in exhibitions and by the DAM’s collection.
Untitled is free for members and includes general admission to the museum. Students with valid ID receive two-for-one tickets during Untitled.
