Using a “Hanging Garden” theme, former DAM Creative-in-Residence Arthur Williams plans a glimpse into the many facets of floral artistry from commercial to avant-garde for September's Untitled Final Friday event.
“My goal is to expose the public to various floral design styles and artists that generally are industry secrets,” he said. “I believe the floral industry needs to educate the public and showcase the possibilities of floral art and its importance in marking the important moments in all our lives.”
Watch for a corsage bar where you can build your own corsage, floral pieces in the gallery inspired by works of art, performance installation floral pieces, and other flower-themed demos and activities.
Untitled Final Fridays is the museum's monthly late-night program featuring workshops, performances, and tours with a twist curated by a local creative.
Included in general admission; free for members and youth 18 and younger. College students with ID receive 2-for-1 admission to Untitled Final Fridays.
Untitled Final Fridays are presented by Your 6 Hometown Toyota Stores.
