Inspired by the Her Paris: Women Artists in the Age of Impressionism exhibition, this class will explore the process of painting in pastels. Together with long-time DAM teaching artist Chuck Ceraso, explore different approaches to working in this medium and apply these to creating self-portraits and landscapes, inspired by examples found within the vibrant special exhibition. Whether you’re new to painting or have years of experience, come and discover new ways of thinking about and approaching the art of painting.
Class fee of $152 members/$184 nonmembers includes two visits to this specially ticketed exhibition during class.
