Fred Wilson encourages viewers to reconsider social and historical narratives by reframing objects and cultural symbols.
His altered traditional interpretation will be on view in June when the Museum's newly-acquired Wilson sculpture is seen in The Light Show.
Doors open at 5:30 pm. Reception will follow the talk at the ART, a hotel, 1201 Broadway.
