Fashioning Illustration: Drawn to Glamour Panel Discussion

In conjunction with the exhibition Drawn to Glamour: Fashion Illustrations by Jim Howard, the textile art and fashion department at the Denver Art Museum presents a panel discussion surrounding the ever changing role of fashion illustration both as an art form and as an industry.

This dynamic conversation will be moderated by publisher Jenny Taliadoros. Panelists include iconic fashion illustrators Jim Howard, David Wolfe, and Sandra Vanderpool.

These illustrators crossed the conventional boundaries of what defines "fashion illustration" transitioning from roles as commercial artists serving the world's most prominent fashion designers and retailers, into the world of paper doll artistry. Speaker bios below.

Panel is included with general admission and free for DAM members; however, seating is limited and advance reservations are recommended.

Ticket reservation is now open for members. Ticket reservations for non-members begin April 11 at 10 am. Call 720-913-0130 or reserve online.
