Art & About Tours

Art & About tours are designed for visitors with early-stage Alzheimer's or dementia and their care partners. Experience and discuss art together on a tour led by a specially trained guide on the second Thursday of the month. Themes change every month.

Tour and general admission to the museum are free for registered participants, but space is limited. Meet on the lower level of the Hamilton Building.

March 8: Animal Tales

Animals play important roles in stories, myths, and legends as heroes, villains, and much more. In March we’ll dive into some of the rich stories behind artworks, and come up with our own tall tales. Reservations will be accepted starting March 1.

April 12: Spring Has Sprung: Springtime Films

Join us for some popcorn and cheerful discussion as we view theme-based clips from classic and contemporary films. In April we'll look at some of our favorite films that feel like springtime. Reservations will be accepted starting April 1.
