Alex Webb, acclaimed street photographer and longtime member of Magnum Photos, travels the world capturing the spirit of people and places he visits. Rebecca Norris Webb, poet and photographer, interweaves text and image to explore the potential of poetic metaphor in visual form.
In addition to being included in museum exhibitions and notable publications such as The New Yorker and National Geographic, between them, they have published over 20 photobooks.
Rebecca and Alex each have a unique photographic vision that drives their work but they also recognize how their photographs often echo each other, an unconscious harmony rooted in their decades old relationship. This has inspired several collaborative projects.
For this evening, they will come together to speak about their inspiration, individual perspective as well as the dialogue between their work.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Lecture tickets are $5 for students, DAM members and CPAC members, $12 for general admission. Purchase tickets online or call 720-913-0130.
