29th Annual Denver Art Museum Friendship Powwow & American Indian Cultural Celebration

Join us for the 29th annual Friendship Powwow and American Indian Cultural Celebration! Everyone is welcome and general admission is free.

One of the Denver Art Museum’s (DAM) longest-running events, the 29th Annual Friendship Powwow and American Indian Cultural Celebration will feature American Indian dancers, drum groups, hands-on activities, booths hosted by artists and community groups, and more.

The DAM’s Friendship Powwow is a celebration of the vitality of American Indian cultures.

Throughout the day, visitors can watch dance competitions, participate in hands-on activities, and enjoy their first (or 101st!) piece of fry bread.

All powwow activities and general museum admission are free.

Please note that the Powwow is in a new location this year, one block directly south of the old location.
