Things to Do Memorial Day Weekend

Looking for something fun to do Memorial Day Weekend? The Denver Art Museum has you covered. Check out current exhibitions including the new Jeffrey Gibson: Like a Hammer (already generating a lot of buzz), Stampede: Animals in Art, and visitor favorite La Musidora (which is back for another summer!). All exhibitions and activities this weekend are included with general admission, which is free for members and youth 18 and younger.

Friday, May 25

Kick off your holiday weekend May 25, 6-10 pm, with Untitled Final Friday. Check out the evening of "art, laughs, and beats" put together by Birdy Magazine.

Saturday, May 26 & Sunday May 27

Join Emily Nell Yellow Bird in the 3-D Studio from noon-3 pm for demonstrations of artmaking with paper, and make your own paper or wire artwork.

Monday, May 28

The museum is open regular hours (10 am-5 pm) on Memorial Day.
