Premier Uncorked Wine-Tasting Events Return to the Denver Art Museum

Two unique events support the museum’s exhibitions and programming

The art of wine-tasting returns to the Denver Art Museum (DAM) with the 15th annual Uncorked Wine Tasting event that will feature more than 300 wines for novice and expert wine enthusiasts. Taking place on Friday, April 10 from 6–9 p.m., the event attracts more than 800 guests.

Presented by UMB Bank and Applejack Wine & Spirits, the Uncorked Wine Tasting provides a unique opportunity to savor moderately to high-priced selections of exceptional vintages from prominent domestic and international vintners. The evening includes three tasting areas within the museum where guests can experience a variety of wines with tasting guides and delicious fare from Kevin Taylor Catering. There also will be a silent auction with offerings from Colorado’s best restaurants, hotels, spas, retailers, winemakers and breweries.

Tickets are $90 for museum members, $125 for non-members and $45 for designated drivers. Tickets can be purchased at the door for an additional $10, subject to availability. First Taste tickets will also be offered for an additional $35, allowing guests to enter the Uncorked Wine Tasting an hour early at 5 p.m. For additional ticketing information, visit Guests must be 21 years of age to attend. Wine-tasting continues throughout the weekend on Saturday, April 11, with Uncorked Reserve, an exclusive fundraising event that pairs world-class art with fine wine, including a silent auction cocktail reception and a live auction four-course seated dinner. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on rare bottles of wine, art tours with DAM curators, unique travel packages and original artworks from artists connected to the DAM in the popular Salon du Musée. This year’s Uncorked events are chaired by Virginia Reiman and Tricia Youssi. Funds generated from the tastings help support special exhibitions and programming at the museum.
