Media Advisory: Expanded Hours for Brilliant and New Closing Date

The Denver Art Museum (DAM) today announces expanded dates and hours for Brilliant: Cartier in the 20th Century. Two additional days have been added to the run of the exhibition, which will now close on March 17. Expanded evening hours will take place Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8, and the final weekend from Friday, March 13–Sunday, March 15. Sat., March 7* — 10 a.m. –8 p.m.

Sun., March 8 — 10 a.m. –8 p.m.

Fri., March 13 — 10 a.m.–10 p.m.

Sat., March 14 — 10 a.m.–10 p.m.

Sun., March 15 — 10 a.m.–10 p.m.

Mon., March 16 — 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Tues., March 17 — 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

*Brilliant requires a special exhibition ticket at all times. However, the Hamilton Building will be open and free for general admission until 8 p.m. as March 7 is a Free First Saturday.

The museum encourages everyone to plan ahead and purchase tickets in advance. Timed and dated tickets are available on-site, online at or over the phone by calling 720-913-0130. A ticket to Brilliant purchased during these extended dates and hours include admission to the museum and the interactive, hands-on Jewelry Studio. During this period, the entire Hamilton Building will remain open for visitors to enjoy. The North Building will close on regularly scheduled days and at the usual times. Palettes, the Kevin Taylor restaurant at the DAM, will be open on Friday and Saturday of the final exhibition weekend from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Please call 303-534-1455 for reservations.
