North Building Renovation: 7 Fast Facts You Need to Know

1. November 19, 2017 was the last day to visit the North Building until it reopens after the renovation is complete.

2. The Denver Art Museum will remain open while the North Building is being renovated. Learn about the lineup of current and upcoming exhibitions.

3. Beginning November 20, 2017 the museum will be open seven days a week. Learn more about hours.

4. Artworks from each of our collections will be on view in exhibitions like Stampede: Animals in Art and Ganesha: The Playful Protector, as well as future shows to be announced.

5. The Denver Art Museum has a lineup of world-class exhibitions coming up that include Her Paris: Women Artists in the Age of Impressionism and Degas: A Passion for Perfection.

6. Many of the DAM's artworks can be viewed online, and the museum is taking artworks out into the community through projects like Art Lives Here.

7. Denver voters overwhelmingly supported the Our Denver Bond measures on November 7, 2017 including measure 2B for cultural facilities. Thanks to this incredible support, an additional $35.5 million in bond funding will support critical infrastructure needs for the 50-year-old North Building, including new HVAC, insulation, plumbing, ADA compliance, and outdoor safety features for students and group visitors.
