Museum Career—Photographer

Christina Jackson talks about her career as photographer at the Denver Art Museum. Using her background in fine arts, art history, and photography, Christina uses her camera to capture museum events, objects in the collection, 360 degree views of artworks, and much more.

Kristina Mahoney is the manager of teacher and school outreach programs in the department of learning and engagement at the Denver Art Museum. Kristina has been at the DAM since 2010 and her favorite artwork (but who can really choose just one?!) that has been on view here is Still Men Out There, Bjorn Melhus. On a walk-through of the museum, she is always sure to stop by the panoramic window on level seven in the North Building–best view in the museum!
