Kids Holiday Gift Ideas Inspired by Exhibitions at the DAM

Visit the Denver Art Museum over the next few months and you may see Venetian Renaissance paintings from Italy, Japanese fashions from Paris, and costumes from a galaxy far, far way. If the kiddos with you were inspired by what they saw (or if you want to take home a souvenir for the young people in your life), be sure and stop by The Shop in the North Building before you leave.

You also can find unique gift ideas at our e-shop (enjoy free shipping online November 25–November 28, 2016). Members save at least 20% at the member Holiday Shopping Event on Monday, December 5. For more information, call us at 720-865-4488.

For Young Artists

The artworks in Glory of Venice: Masterworks of the Renaissance are “some of the most beguiling paintings ever made.” If you have a young Titian or Bellini in your life that you want to inspire, check out some of the DAM's unique art kits and books.

For Budding Fashion Designers

Shock Wave: Japanese Fashion Design, 1980s–90s, shows fashions by Issey Miyake, Kenzo Takada, Kansai Yamamoto, Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garçons, Junya Watanabe, and other powerhouse designers. If seeing this exhibition inspires a fashionista you know, encourage his or her interest with sketchbooks, fashion design kits, and other items.

For Stars Wars™ Fans

The Star Wars and the Power of Costume exhibition ends with a shop filled with books, hats, t-shirts, toys, and other souvenirs for Star Wars fans. In addition, there's a completely different selection of Star Wars-related items (including a cookbook that comes with "ice saber" popsicles!) in The Shop in the North Building.
