The Denver Art Museum Loves Its Volunteers

The Denver Art Museum volunteers are exceptional, dynamic, and caring. Nearly 450 volunteers gave more than 39,000 hours of their time, energy, and expertise last year helping visitors maneuver through the museum, engage with art in dynamic ways and organize behind the scenes. We greatly appreciate their committed service and their knowledgeable, interesting, friendly, and fun characters. They brighten the day of staff members and museum visitors alike.

We think our volunteers are the best in the world and look forward to our annual Volunteer Appreciation Celebration on April 7 to shower them with gratitude. Our celebration coincides with volunteer appreciation celebrations throughout the country.

Last month three very special volunteers (pictured at top, left to right: Gay Neilson, Karen Jenkins, and Patti Capps) were given the prestigious Cile Bach Award for their exemplary service to the DAM.

Be sure to come by and see some great art and meet a Denver Art Museum volunteer soon. Your day will be richer because of it.
