Enter the Curator’s Choice: #DAMGreatShot Instagram Contest!

In celebration of Month of Photography Denver and the opening of our new photography exhibition, Barbara Bosworth: Quiet Wonder, our photography department staff wants to see what YOU can capture! We invite you to channel your inner Barbara Bosworth to capture photos of nature, landscape, or something that is not noticeable at first glance and post it on Instagram.

Show your love for photography and connect with other local photographers and creatives by participating in the Curator’s Choice: #DAMGreatShot Instagram Contest.

How to enter Curator’s Choice: #DAMGreatShot Instagram Contest

  1. Take a photo of nature, landscape or something not noticeable at first glance
  2. Upload it to Instagram between March 13-31 and hashtag #DAMGreatShot #MoPDenver and tag @denverartmuseum in the copy
  3. Wait to find out if you’re the lucky winner of a private tour of Barbara Bosworth: Quiet Wonder with Micah Messenheimer, curatorial assistant of photography

How the winner is picked

Members of the DAM photography department will review the 10 top entries with the most “likes” and, based on their expert knowledge of the genre, decide who captured the best image that exemplifies one of the three themes.

What you win

The DAM will repost your winning #DAMGreatShot #MoPDenver photo, provide you with two general admission museum tickets, and give you and friend a private tour of Barbara Bosworth: Quiet Wonder with Micah Messenheimer, curatorial assistant of photography.
