The 15th Annual Uncorked on April 10-11, 2015, was a Huge Success!

Thank you to everyone who attended Uncorked Wine Tasting on April 10 and Uncorked Reserve on April 11. Uncorked was a huge success raising over $560,000 for the Denver Art Museum. Cheers to that!

At the Friday Uncorked Wine Tasting, 900 people enjoyed more than 300 wines, beers, and spirits while enjoying live music from the Kenneth Walker Jazz Trio and delicious hors d'oeuvres from Kevin Taylor Catering.

The doors opened at 5 pm for the First Taste ticket holders who received access to the event an hour before the crowds. They also received an hors d'oeuvres plate that holds your wine glass!

Winemakers, winery representatives, and Applejack Wine & Spirits staff poured wine and answered questions.

We had PLENTY of wine glasses on hand for the evening…. We used more than 1,500 wine glasses in all!

The wildflower-inspired floral arrangements were designed and created by the museum’s own volunteer committee, The Flower Council.

At the Saturday Uncorked Reserve, 400 guests enjoyed an evening of world-class art, fine dining, and special wine. The event featured a four-course seated dinner with wine pairings, as well as silent and live auctions.

Special thanks to our presenting sponsor UMB Bank and our event co-chairs Tricia Youssi and Virginia Reiman, pictured above.

Guests enjoyed a picture perfect Colorado spring evening on the Sie Terrance.

An exquisite four-course menu was designed by Austin Cueto, chef at Kevin Taylor Catering. Austin was inspired by local and fresh ingredients. Seen here is the amuse bouche—yellow tomato gazpacho with Haystack Mountain goat cheese, poached apple, pistachio, and basil. Yum!

Bistro lights and rustic farm tables added to the festive dining room.

The most exciting part of the evening was the Live Auction following dinner. Bidding wars ensued on a variety of exclusive getaways and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. One lucky couple even won lunch with Peyton Manning!

Digital Pocket played throughout the evening and brought the night to a close with an epic dance party.
