At the Denver Art Museum, we want everyone's visit to be a pleasure. The museum is fully accessible, and free wheelchairs are available at welcome centers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Adaptive and interpretive services, like sign-language tours, are available with one week's notice. To make arrangements, call 720-913-0059.
For more information on services for people with special needs, e-mail access@denverartmuseum.org.
When you arrive, ask about the accommodations we offer for King Tut. Our staff will strive to make the exhibition as accessible as possible to visitors with disabilities, including those who are blind or visually impaired.
People with disabilities have the option of visiting King Tut during Access Day on August 24 from 10 am to 1 pm. During this event, the exhibition will be less crowded, lighting will be adjusted to improve visibility, and touch kits will be presented near the exhibition’s exit.
