What better way to kick off the spring season than to spend it immersed in art and the outdoors! March 8 marks the arrival of the Denver Botanic Garden’s stellar exhibition of Henry Moore sculptures and a fresh partnership between the DAM and DBG.
This four-part course meets at the DAM for the first three sessions and then concludes at DBG for a walkthrough of Moore in the Gardens. Join art historian and seasoned DAM instructor, Giulia Bernardini, for this series on the roots of modernism with a special focus on sculpture and Henry Moore. Learn about the works and movements from the late nineteenth– to the mid twentieth–century whose impact is still felt on the art world today. This course is open to all who are interested in becoming familiar with the most important artists and concepts underpinning modern art and requires no prior art historical knowledge.
As always, DAM members receive priority registration and discounted course prices. We are happy to be able to extend this limited offer to DBG members for this course only.
