HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES IN THE STUDIO
Try these artmaking activities every day the museum is open.
- Purely Paper: Use your design thinking skills to build an abstract sculpture.
- Wound in Wire: Draw inspiration from the exhibition Stampede: Animals in Art to create your own animal.
- Become a Part of the Art: Work together with family and friends to contribute to a collaborative sculpture designed by local artist Pam Fortner
WEEKEND ARTIST DEMONSTRATIONS
On weekends, connect with Denver's creative community at artist demonstrations. Every weekend is a new chance to see an artist at work on three-dimensional art, from sculpture to 3-D printing to drawings that turn 3-D right before your eyes! Our series will kick off on October 7-8 with Denver artist Jennifer Ghormley, who worked closely with the DAM in the design of the 3-D Studio.
Demonstrations take place on Saturdays and Sundays from noon–3 pm.
