The rosary, a form of prayer beads, guides the faithful through sets of prayers. While prayer beads are common in many religions, Christian use of them starts to be common around 1000. The rosary is most often associated with Saint Dominic (see also 2013.348). This rosary is crafted of gold filigree and tiny coral beads.
