teacher workshops

In 2008-2009, the Denver Art Museum will take its teacher programs on the road, offering workshops to groups of teachers in their school districts.  This will provide an opportunity for teachers to share ideas and suggestions and will also allow the museum to see its online resources in action.  For more information, email: schoolprograms@denverartmuseum.org.

Creativity Resource – Coming October 2008

Creativity Resource, our new website designed specifically for teachers, will bring together a wealth of information, lesson plans and activities via the internet.  Teachers will be able to download high-quality images and use related material to connect their students with the DAM’s rich collection. 

The lessons will focus primarily on Visual Arts
and Language Arts, but other subjects such as Social Studies, will be added in a second phase. 

Lessons will focus on three levels: Early Childhood (ages 3-4), Elementary (Grades K-5) and Secondary (Grades 6-12) and will address CMCS.
