pre-columbian art

North Building, Level 4

The pre-Columbian art collection represents nearly every major culture in Mesoamerica, Central America, and South America, with particular strengths in arts of Central America and Peruvian, Ecuadorian, and Mayan ceramics. Thousands of pre-Columbian objects are displayed on the North Building's fourth floor, which has reading areas and activities for kids and adults.
