This event takes place outside of the museum campus. It does not take place at the museum.

Powwow Schedule

12 pm—Grand Entry Begins

1 pm—Tiny Tots (0-6 yrs), Combined

1:15 pm—Junior Division (7-12 yrs), Teen Division (13-17 yrs), and Special Contests

  • Girl’s Fancy, Jingle, Traditional
  • Boy’s Fancy, Grass, Traditional

3 pm—Golden Age Division (55+ yrs)

  • Women’s Combined
  • Men’s Combined

3:30 pm—Adult Division (18-54 yrs)

  • Women’s Fancy, Jingle, Traditional
  • Men’s Fancy, Grass, Traditional

*Committee may combine categories depending on number of dancers.
