Boulder author John Shors’ latest novel, Temple of a Thousand Faces, is set in the much admired but little understood city/temple Angkor Wat of nearly a thousand years ago. The novel’s characters inhabit a marvel of ornately carved towers and stone statues in a story of empire lost, love tested and heroism reborn. Shors will share details of the 18 months of research and writing needed to bring this magical place to life. Books available in the North Building Museum Shop for signing.
