This class will occur June 25–28, 10 am–noon.
Young artists explore human and animal families, communities or clans portrayed in the Denver Art Museum’s collections. They will create their own art based on this theme. Class discussions will be around all types of families and observations made in the museum galleries. Children will be encouraged to talk about and create visual representation of their own definition of family in their art. They will work on a short story or description about their concept of family and share this with the class in a visual or verbal format at the end of the week.
Registration for DAM members begins March 5; for non-members on March 12.
