Members-Only Lecture: A Masterwork Discovered (March 15)—SOLD OUT

A rare early Italian painting by the Venetian artist Canaletto has been discovered in the Denver Art Museum's collection. We invite you to listen to a lecture by Angelica Daneo, Associate Curator of Paintings and Sculpture, and James Squires, Associate Conservator of Paintings, discussing the painting's unique history and conservation treatment.

The lectures scheduled for March 1and March 15 are sold out. Due to the popularity of this topic, two additional lectures have been scheduled for March 7 at noon and March 22 at 10:30 am.

As space in the galleries is limited we encourage members attending this program to see the painting in advance of this presentation. It will be on view in the North Building on level 6 beginning February 15.

Doors open at 5 pm. Tickets are $5. Members only. Advance registration is required. For more information, call 720-913-0130.
