An Evening Celebrating Mark Rothko (SOLD OUT)

The weekend begins with a lecture by Harry Cooper, curator and head of modern art at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. After the lecture, visitors are invited to explore the exhibition Figure to Field and enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres. This evening, co-presented by the Clyfford Still Museum, concludes with a performance of The Rothko Room, an original piece for piano, composed and performed by Washington, D.C.-based musician Haskell Small.

Doors open at 5 pm.

Tickets are $12 students, $15 DAMC and CultureHaus members, $16 DAM and Clyfford Still Museum members, $24 nonmembers.
