The Denver Art Museum is participating in the annual, city-wide celebration of arts and culture titled Denver Arts Week. Modeled after Paris’s La Nuit au musée, Night at the Museums is a special evening when various SCFD organizations and cultural institutions will be open and free from 5 to 10 pm. At the DAM, visitors will be treated to a few special guests as the museum stays open late. Iconic artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and a few of his friends elaborately dressed as Marie Antoinette will be stopping by the museum to meet museum-goers, mix and mingle with the crowd from 5 to 9 pm. The Bistro Bus and the Crepe Cart food trucks will also be on the plaza serving Parisian-inspired cuisine. The permanent collections are open for free for visitors.
Guests can also receive a $3 discount off full price adult tickets to Passport to Paris by entering the code DAW for tickets purchased to view the exhibition the evening of Nov. 2. The museum is encouraging visitors to book in advance as tickets are selling fast for that evening.
