Artist Melanie Yazzie will be in residence for three months, working onsite in a new space created as part of the level 3 reinstallation. Yazzie will be working on a series of paintings, lino cuts, and wood cuts, drawing inspiration from the American Indian gallery. She will also design collaborative community projects on weekends for visitors to share in her process. Free with museum admission; no reservations needed. Sponsored by Americana Foundation.
