Untitled #48 (Anonymous) Invites Your Incognito Input

This month’s late night program, Untitled #48 (Anonymous), is taking it to the streets with crowd-sourced activities, anonymous art, and connections between strangers.

MakeARTtalk, the series where we ask local creatives to make a new work inspired by the DAM and its collections, will feature Matt Scobey and David Coccagna. The pair will be activating anonymous corners of the museum with their work and hosting mini-tours throughout the evening.

Also this month, we are really excited to have two artists from our collections live and at work in the museum. Laleh Mehran, the artist currently featured in the Fuse Box Gallery in the Hamilton Building, will have two performances seeking the anonymous input of visitors to help build upon her installation Men of God, Men of Nature. Over in the North Building in the American Indian galleries, artist-in-residence Melanie Yazzie will be on hand to teach you some monotype printmaking skills in our anonymous art swap. Stop by to make a piece with Yazzie and snag a print made by a stranger.

Local musician Ian Cooke will be hitting the Duncan stage—perfectly located next to the patio. Hello, summer, Untitled is so glad to see you.
