Museum Career—Mount Maker

In this video, Steve Osborne shares what experiences led to a career at the Denver Art Museum. His background in welding, gun repair, and restoration prepared him to think critically in order to solve problems and invent new methods for displaying works of art.

Kristina Mahoney is the manager of teacher and school outreach programs in the department of learning and engagement at the Denver Art Museum. Kristina has been at the DAM since 2010 and her favorite artwork (but who can really choose just one?!) that has been on view here is Still Men Out There, Bjorn Melhus. On a walk-through of the museum, she is always sure to stop by the panoramic window on level seven in the North Building–best view in the museum!
