Member Monday Evenings

Members are invited to see Her Paris with holiday visitors, friends, and family during special evenings when the museum will be open only to members until 7 pm:

  • November 20
  • December 4
  • December 18

Advance ticket purchase highly recommended, number of tickets limited by membership level.

Member Tours ($3, in addition to exhibition ticket)

Members have the opportunity to receive docent-led tours of Her Paris. Space is limited. Please purchase tickets in advance.

EVERYONE

Her Paris: Women Artists in the City, 1850-1900 (Saturdays, November 11 & 18, December 2 & 9)

This four-session course will transport participants to 19th-century Paris, offering an in-depth exploration of the city as a popular mecca for women artists from Europe and America.

Discover the challenges, triumphs, and remarkable creativity of those who lived, studied, and exhibited in the city from 1850 to 1900, a period of great social, cultural, and artistic change.

KIDS & FAMILIES

Visitors of all ages will find much to enjoy in this exhibition. Kids and families are invited to play the Her Paris gallery game, where they will go on an adventure through the city of Paris discovering some of the places and objects that inspired these women artists.

STUDENTS & GROUPS

  • Inspire your students with remarkable works created by women in Paris from 1850-1900 in Her Paris. Students will see how women embraced their artistic aspirations despite societal challenges.
