Celebrate 2017 Art Museum Day with the DAM

In celebration of Art Museum Day on May 18, we invite you to take advantage of these special offerings.

ADMISSION

Visitors who purchase a general admission ticket at either the Clyfford Still Museum or here at the DAM can enjoy free admission at both museums when presenting their admission ticket or receipt, thanks to the museums’ collaborative two-venue presentation of Shade: Clyfford Still/Mark Bradford.

ENTER TO WIN PHOTO CONTEST

Submit your finest photos taken at the Denver Art Museum over the years in our Art Museum Day 2017 photo contest through the end of the day on May 18! From photos of Becoming Van Gogh to unique architecture to the Friendship Powwow, we want to see your favorite moments at the DAM. The photographer whose photo receives the most votes in the submission gallery will win four adult tickets to the DAM's featured summer exhibition The Western: An Epic in Art and Film, opening May 27.

The Western is the first major exhibition to examine the Western genre and its evolution from the mid-1800s to the present through fine art, film and popular culture. Visitors can expect to go on a visual journey that is more than cowboys and barroom brawls! Use the tickets to be among the first to see the exhibition during opening weekend or save your tickets to show your out-of-town visitors what #SummerintheWest is like.

SNAP AWAY ON SNAPCHAT

If you’re at the DAM on May 18, we invite you to use our Art Museum Day 2017 Snapchat Geofilter OnDemand. Overlay your photos and videos taken on Snapchat with this fun custom frame. Don’t forget to give us a follow (username: denverartmuseum) for behind-the-scenes moments, interviews with staff and more.
